AFFIRM

NVEEE’s AFFIRM program supports the unique needs of diverse LGBTQIA+ youth and their families in South Florida through education, resources, leadership and life skills development, mentorship, brave spaces, and community partnerships.

AFFIRM AMBASSADORS

Since 2009, NVEEE has provided education to prevent bullying and suicide among LGBTQIA+ youth. We also provide referrals to outside agencies for affirming mental health providers, family support, hormones, and name changes. NVEEE aims to holistically address the needs of LGBTQIA+ youth, so that they can lead effectively in their own schools and communities.

Through our AFFIRM program, we offer LGBTQIA+ specific youth programming, including leadership development, mentorship, and peer-led spaces where young people learn life skills and foster lifelong friendships.
