Who We Are
NVEEE’s Youth Advisory Leadership Council
is a diverse group of youth, ages 15-22, that reside all across the United States and exemplify traits of COMPASSION, LEADERSHIP, and DEDICATION to their community. Their function is to advise NVEEE’s Board of Directors and Executive Team on educational and social matters that they care about most.
The YALC‘s mission is to provide youth with a podium to experience leadership first hand, to serve their community, and to help NVEEE better understand their part in how they can transform the world around them.
What we do
We meet virtually once per month to strategize, share ideas and plan events.
Clothing Drives for LGBTQ Youth
Partnering with Sunserve Youth Services, we collect gently used clothing for LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness, displacement, or are just in general need.
Cell Phone Donation Program
We collect used phones to provide youth who are experiencing homelessness or are in critical need.
Our podcast centers the voices of youth with lived experiences on a variety of topics including leadership, racism, homelessness, homophobia and transphobia,
What Drives Us
To provide youth with a platform to experience leadership first hand, to serve their community, and to help NVEEE better understand their part in how they can transform their world around them for the better.
