Group couseling offers students the opportunity to deal with issues related to substance abuse prevention and intervention, anger management, stress management, family relationships peer relationships, sexual identity, grief, teen pregnancy/parenting. The T.R.U.S.T office is a safe, cofidential place where students can come and get help working through any problems they may be experiencing.
T.R.U.S.T is a comprehensive student assistance program designed to provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, bullying mediation, substance abuse education and prevention. The T.R.U.S.T counselor also assists with referrals to community agencies and other self-defeating behaviors. T.R.U.S.T Counselors help students in developing positive self-esteem, making responsible decisions, and becoming aware of accurate daily information. Emotional development is promoted through individual, group and family counseling.
