Policy Against Bullying and Harassment

BULLYING AND HARASSMENT POLICY At each school, the principal or the principal’s designee is responsible for receiving complaints alleging violations of this policy. All school employees are required to report alleged violations of this Policy to the principal or the principal’s designee. All other members of the school community who have credible information that an act of bullying or harassment has taken place, including students, parents/legal guardians, volunteers, and visitors are encouraged to 12 report any act that may be a violation of this policy anonymously or in-person to the principal or principal’s designee.

Students have the power to make their schools safer. If they become aware of violent or dangerous behavior at their school, they are encouraged to share that information with a trusted adult or they may also report this information to the Bullying/Harassment Anonymous Tip Hotline at 305-995-CARE (2273).

Bullying Complaint Report Form. This report MUST be completed to file a complaint relating to an incident of alleged bullying (for the purpose of this form, bullying encompasses bullying, harassment, and discrimination) and turned in to the school Principal/ designee of the victim’s home school or the appropriate area/district office.
