WHAT IS THE MENTORING PROGRAM?
Students in high school and college participate in our adult-to-teen mentoring program, meant to empower youth and young adults to become leaders, advocates, and agents of change in their personal and professional endeavors, by providing life skills and fostering personal growth through mentoring.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM?
The participants of the Mentoring Program are NVEEE’s Jr. Counselor youth who are a part of the Peace Ambassador Leadership Program (PALP), or other interested youth who apply and are accepted into the program.

The mission of the Mentoring Program is to empower youth and young adults to become leaders, advocates, and agents of change in their personal and professional endeavors, by providing life skills and fostering personal growth through mentoring.

The Mentoring Program envisions a future in which young adults and elders share their professional skills and life experiences while creating a society that flourishes on NVEEE’s four pillars: community, leadership, integrity, and compassion.
WHAT WORK IS DONE IN THE MENTORING PROGRAM’S VISION?
The Mentoring Program pairs Mentors and Mentees then manages the mentorship through Monthly Contacts. The Mentoring Program also hosts two main events for participants of the program: Monthly Mentoring Mondays and Mentee Meets.

WHAT IS MONTHLY MENTORING MONDAYS?
Monthly Mentoring Mondays is an activities group that takes place on the last Monday of every month to provide the Mentors and Mentees an opportunity to interact.
WHAT IS MENTEE MEETS?
Mentee Meets is a discussion based group that takes place every two weeks to provide the Mentees the opportunity to interact amongst each other.
