Jennifer’s professional experiences include administrative as well as direct social service work with a variety of populations. She began her career by providing services to individuals diagnosed with HIV/ AIDS. After receiving her graduate degree in Social Services Administration from the University of Chicago, she served as Associate Director of Resident Services with a housing organization in Chicago. She developed and facilitated community building programs for residents in mixed-income developments. Upon moving back to Florida, she worked as a Mental Health Therapist providing therapeutic treatment to a variety of demographic groups for a broad spectrum of mental health disorders. She currently serves as a Program Director providing supervision to an average of sixteen mental health therapists. She created and facilitates the beYOUtiful girl workshop to address self-esteem issues with girls ages 14 through 17.
